Puppe’n Mucke is a Berlin-based music and art collective, founded in 2013 by musician Raving Mad Carlos and visual artist SHOXXX. They play trashy electro pop punk music wearing huge original puppet costumes designed and hand-sewn by SHOXXX. They mix electro beats and sounds with diverse instruments such as melodica, bongo, keyboards and guitar, often featuring guest singers and artists. The result is a very funny-to-watch-performance of crazy characters playing original enjoyable music. The current core members of Puppe’n Mucke are: Raving Mad Carlos (Vocal, Keyboard), Luca aka Flusspluss (Guitar), Benten (Vocal) and SHOXXX (Melodica, Vocal). In August 2022 they released a new album “Puppe’n Mucke” in digital & analog (cassette) format.

Agente Costura is a continuous building site for self playing, oscillating, blinking, touch sensitive, light sensitive, talking, soft, found, stitched, glitched, and hacked instruments, acting and reacting in an ever fluctuating state of chaos, by artist Lisa Simpson. She has been playing the Singer, a sewing machine, since 2003. In the daytime she tackles unwanted clothing, pins them down and cuts them up, transforming them into new wearable shapes. By transforming wardrobes she is questioning contemporary consumption habits, bringing forth a discussion around the sustainability of the fashion industry. At nighttime the Singer joins her fellow musicians and Lisa sews to the beat of the music, improvising on clothing based on rhythm and sound. The prepared sewing machine is amplified to become a musical instrument and layers of sound are looped as layers of fabric are stitched together, creating a dreamlike soundscape, enhanced by self built wearable oscillators and feedback machines.
